Mary Ellen Versis, 82, a resident of Severna Park, died on July 19, 2016 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
She was born in Washington DC where she was raised and attended McKinley Technology High School. Previously living in Silver Spring, MD and Kent Island, MD before residing in Severna Park. She married her husband, William on April 26, 1951.
She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family. She previously attended Church of Our Savior in Hillandale and more recently, Christ Church in Stevensville, MD.
Preceded in death by her late husband, William Nicholas Versis, who died in 2003. Mary is survived by her four children, Brian (Gerry), Bob, Jeff (Jamie), Patti (Mark) and eleven grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Martins-in-the-Field Church on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00am. Interment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
