Mary Veronica Taccino (nee Bean), 88, a resident of Severna Park, died on January 22, 2010 at her home, due to natural causes.
She was born on November 2, 1921 in Cumberland, MD, where she was raised. Mary was a clerk serving in the U.S. Air Force. In 1946, she married James Paul Taccino. They came to Severna Park from Frostburg, MD in 1962, where they raised their family.
She was a Regional Master for the American Contract Bridge League and a member of the American Legion Post 189 in Barton, MD.
She was preceded in death by her late husband in 2001.
She is survived by her daughters, Jean Davis of Severna Park and Janice Ferreri of Brooklyn Park, MD; her brother, Jack Bean of Barton, MD; her sister, Margaret Fram of Barton. MD; her granddaughter, Caroline Davis of Hanover, PA; and her grandson, Ben Davis of Reisterstown, MD.
Services and burial will be private. Arrangements made by the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
