Mary Lee was fond of accompanying her husband Jim on his frequent business trips to places such as Tennessee, Hawaii, and California. However, Mary Lee always looked forward to her annual family trips to Ocean City, Maryland, or the Outer Banks, North Carolina. There she would relax at the beach with Jim and enjoy watching their children happily play in the sand and the ocean.
Mary Lee was a respected civil servant, and held several positions for the State of Maryland during her 28 years of service; such as the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Transportation, Headquarters and Coordinator for the Anne Arundel County District Court Commissioners office.
