Mary “Sue” Bansbach, 89, of Pasadena, MD, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025. Born on November 2, 1936, in Washington, D.C., to William Bryan Miltimore and Clara Mae (Roberts) Miltimore, Sue grew up in Washington, D.C., and Hollywood, MD. A lifelong Marylander, after graduating from Northwestern High School, she lived in Hyattsville; Edmonston; Pasadena; and Annapolis.

Sue worked in Annapolis for Flowers by James and for the Maryland State Division of Documents as an office assistant. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and working on puzzles.

During her life she cherished travel, delighting in new experiences and the memories she made.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jacob “Putt” Bansbach, Jr. and is survived by her two sons, Michael Bansbach (Julie) of Lantana, FL, and Jay Bansbach (Kathleen) of Pasadena, MD; and her three grandchildren, Rochelle Bansbach of Lantana, FL, William Bansbach of Davenport, FL, and Lauren Benson of Lantana, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow privately at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis, MD
