Mary Rose Lund (nee McCubbin), 94, a 2 year resident of HeartLands Assisted Living at Severna Park, passed away on June 23, 2012 of natural causes.
She was born November 25, 1917 in East Baltimore, raised in Baltimore, and graduated from Seton High School. She moved to the Pasadena area in the 1970's.
Mary was a homemaker, loved being with her family, and enjoyed doll collecting.
She is survived by her two sons, Joseph Cliff Lund, Sr. (Mary) of Severna Park and Paul L. Lund, Sr. (Kathie) of Cape St. Claire; one daughter, Mary Ellen Kitchen (Ron) of Pasadena; loving grandmother of Joseph Cliff Lund, Jr. (Sue), Elizabeth DiPietro (Philip), Karen Giermek (Christopher), Paul Lund, Jr. (Gail), Cindy DiPietro (Lawrence), Chris Kitchen, and James Biltz, Jr. (Cindy); and fifteen great grandchildren.
A visitation was held from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. A Funeral Service followed at 1:00 pm with interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
