Mary Elizabeth "Libby" (Rice) Osborn, 86, of Severna Park, Md. passed away on January 8, 2010, after a brief illness. She was born May 19, 1923 in Bangor Me. to Charles and Helen ( Duggan) Rice. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Howard P. Osborn who died January 17, 1994. She is survived by 4 children Marie A. Osborn of Manchester Ct., Barbara and Carl Perusich of Medway Ma., Chuck and Cathy Osborn of Hammond Mn. and Paul and Lisa Osborn of Germantown Md. and 4 Grandchildren-Nick, Ashley and Tyler of Minnesota and Sean of Maryland. She was a 1945 Graduate of Regis College in Weston Ma. who enjoyed an "Active Life" starting everyday with the Washington Post Crossword Puzzle. She was an excellent cook and an avid bridge player who also enjoyed needle work and family gatherings. Lib and Oz took pleasure in traveling during their retirement. A much beloved wife, mother, and grandmother she will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 10am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be held on Thursday February 4, 2010 at 10am at Arlington National Cemetery.
