Mary Elizabeth Zahorchak Galli Raimond, 83, passed away February 10, 2016. Mary was born August 20, 1932 in Tarentum PA to Joseph and Margaret Zahorchak. A resident of Severna Park, MD for fifty-five years, Mary was in the first graduating class of AACC, and later a graduate of University of MD and Johns Hopkins University. She taught English at a Baltimore high school as well as at Anne Arundel Community College. Later she was a co-owner of Calvert Land Title and a real estate broker until her retirement. A lifelong learner she continued taking classes into her eighties. She was an avid reader and enjoyed jewelry making and in later years, became an accomplished painter in pastels and watercolors. Mary took great pleasure in the company of her fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, and was much loved by her many nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her husbands Raymond James Galli of Creighton, PA and Thomas Gabriel Raimond of Baltimore, MD and her daughter Susan Elizabeth Galli. She is survived by her children Amy Galli McCarron (Vincent), Christopher Galli (Deborah DiPaula), Polly Galli Green (Michael), James Galli (Kathy Bell Galli), Beth Galli Towers (Burkett), and Maria Raimondi (David Woodard). Also survived by her brother Walter Zahorchak and sisters Eugenia Zahorchak Desmone and Patricia Zahorchak Scott.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 18th, 2016 at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at a later date.
