Mary Rowe Parker, 87, a resident of Arnold, MD passed peacefully on February 6, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
She was born on January 13, 1922 in Washington, DC, where she was raised, and was married in 1952. She lived in Silver Spring, MD until 1971, then came to live in Arnold, MD.
Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and a lioness with the Silver Spring Lions Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Parker of Arnold, MD; two sons, Thomas Ditto of Orlando, FL and Robert Parker of Silver Spring, MD; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at
Old Wye Church, 14114 Old Wye Mills Road, Wye Mills, MD 21679.
Interment will be private. Arrangements made by Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
