Mary Padusi
Mary Padusi, 74, died of kidney failure Jan. 18 at her home in Severna Park.
Born Mary Cordis on Dec. 31, 1930, in McKeesport, Pa., Mrs. Padusi graduated from McKeesport High School in 1949. She previously lived in Baltimore and Glen Burnie.
She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Baltimore. Among her interests were travel, family, game shows and bowling.
She was the widow of local business owner George Padusi, to whom she was married for 51 years.
Surviving are her children, Peggy Padusi Franko of Severna Park, Evan Padusi of Glen Burnie, and Dr. Mary Ellen Padusi Vlassis of Joppa; six grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Cordis and Ethel Fatandas, and a brother, James Cordis, all of McKeesport.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Trisagion service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. She will lie in state Saturday at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Baltimore at 10 a.m. and services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Woodlawn.
