Mary Ann Nutter
Mary Ann Nutter, 81, of Severna Park, died July 4 at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Nutter was a longtime resident of both Severn and Severna Park, having resided in McKinsey Park for the past nine years.
Born in Allentown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late retired Army Col. and Mrs. Lee E. Isreall. A homemaker, she devoted 25 years as a Red Cross volunteer at Kimbrough Army Hospital at Fort George G. Meade. She also served for 15 years as a docent at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
The widow of retired Army Maj. Robert L. Nutter, she is survived by four children, Robert Nutter of St. Mary's, Ga., Michael Nutter of Orchard Beach, Nancy Stow of Severna Park and David Nutter of Lutherville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of Marguarite Ward, who died in 1942, and Helene Harned, who died in 2006, and the grandmother of Chris Nutter, who died in 1991.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Internment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
