Mary Elise Mutter, 88, of Severna Park, Maryland, formerly from Ossining, New York, passed away on September 8, 2020. She was at home surrounded by her children. Born on December 31, 1931, to Lloyd and Ann Magai, she was raised in Montclair, New Jersey. She attended Skidmore College, where she received a Bachelor's degree. She raised three children and managed a medical practice. Cooking was her passion, and everyone loved her parties.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Dr. Raymond D. Mutter. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Mutter of Severna Park, MD, Kathryn Manning of Colfax, CA, and Barbara Elsworth of Leverett, MA; her grandchildren, Andrew Manning, Sara Meyers-Manning, Brian Manning, Kendra (Mutter) Chenowith, Greg Mutter, Madeline Manning; and her 6 great-grandchildren.
