Mary Susan "Susie" Ruppert Millette, 61, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away on May 9, 2016 due to a lengthy illness.
Susie was born to her parents, David and Margaret Ruppert on November 14, 1954 in Washington, D.C. and was raised in Severna Park. She later lived in Frederick, Chester, and Annapolis prior to moving to Vero Beach in 2011.
A 1972 graduate of Severna Park High School, Susie later earned her Associates Degree from Anne Arundel Community College. She was self-employed as a Real Estate Title Abstractor for many years. She loved art, photography, antiques and old movies, but most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, James Burnes Millette of Nederland, CO; her parents, David and Margaret Ruppert of Vero Beach, FL; her sisters, Joanne Hockman of Annapolis, Nancy French (Mark) of Stevensville, and Tiffany Thomas (Joseph) of Severna Park; her brothers, Michael Ruppert (Monica) of Severna Park, Joseph Ruppert (Jaci) of Ft. Pierce, FL, and John Ruppert (Jennifer) of Stevensville; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, May 15th from 2-4 P.M. at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy., where a prayer service will be held at 3:15 P.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004.
