Mary McDermott

Mary Agnes McDermott, 67, a native of Ireland and a resident of Arnold for the past 30 years, died of heart disease May 9 at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Mrs. McDermott was born Nov. 18, 1940, in West Meath, Ireland.

She enjoyed gardening and traveling back to Ireland, and was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin McDermott; one son, Kevin Patrick McDermott of Annapolis; one daughter, Sheila Ann Norris; and one grandson.

Family and friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Interment will be private.
