Mary Kay Maruszewski (nee Fettig), 68, a resident of Arnold, died on April 24, 2012 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, South Carolina.
She was born on August 10, 1943 in Janesville, WI, raised in Milwaukee, WI, and previously lived in Jamestown, NY and also is a resident of Sun City Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Mary attended Pius the Eleventh High School in Milwaukee and Marquette University. She formerly taught at St. John the Evangelist and was an office manager at Dr. Michael Allen's Dental Office.
She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist, where she sang in the choir and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the ministry to the sick and homebound.
She enjoyed reading, playing golf, cards and scrabble. She loved praying the rosary and being with her children and beloved grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Richard F. Maruszewski of Arnold; three sons, Richard F. Maruszewski, III of Franklin, WI, David P. Maruszewski (Diane) of Monrovia, MD, and Adam D. Maruszewski of Vista, CA; one daughter, Julia Kay Maruszewski of Arlington, VA; one brother, Paul Fettig (Dianne) of Lincoln Hills, CA; two sisters, Patricia Cormack of Huntington Beach, CA and Barbara Nick of Stanton, CA; and one grandson, David P. Maruszewski.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will be at the Naval Academy Columbarium on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of St. John the Evangelist or masses would be appreciated.
