MARY ROMINA LEIGH
Mina Leigh, 91, of Severna Park, MD died March 21 at the Severna Park Genesis Center.
Born September 21, 1918 in Pittsburgh, PA, her family moved to the Boston area where she graduated from Brighton High School and where she lived for most of her life. Mrs. Leigh was employed by American Optical and Caldors until retirement. She moved to Severna Park in November 2007.
Known for her sense of humor, she enjoyed dancing, sewing, and reading. She loved cats, especially Ellie, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Leigh was preceded in death by her late husband of 33 years, Robert C. Leigh, and her sons Robert H. Leigh and John R. Leigh. She is survived by her daughter-in-laws,
Alice Leigh of Severna Park, MD and Janet Leigh of Cotuit, MA, four grandchildren Thomas Leigh, David Leigh, Christopher Leigh and Kathryn Leigh and four great grandchildren.
A service and interment will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Brighton, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
