Mary C. Kern, 88, a resident of Severna Park, died on December 14, 2011 at Tate Chesapeake Hospice House in Linthicum, MD.
She was born on May 16, 1923 in Baltimore, where she was raised.
Mary enjoyed going to Ocean City and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Kern and son, Walter Kern, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Duvall of Severna Park; brother, Joseph Cuddy of Towson; sister, Elizabeth Sadowski of Towson; and granddaughter, Alicia Kern of Maryland.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 4-7 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 19th at 10: 00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church , 7436 B & A Blvd. Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy, Annapolis, MD 21401
