Mary Rose Hoffman, 89, a resident of Severna Park, passed away on July 23, 2018 at Hospice of the Chesapeake Inpatient Care Center in Pasadena.
Mary Rose was born on September 7, 1928 in Maryland and was a long time resident of the Severna Park area.
She worked for the Maryland Health Department for more than 20 years.
Mary Rose was a member of the Department of Natural Resources and she had a lot of friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Marie Hoffman.
She is survived by her three daughters, Colleen Smardon (Robert) of Ellicott City, Donna Hennessey of Arnold, and Joanne Hoffman of New York; four grandchildren, Matthew, Jamie, Jeff, and Lindsay; and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Ava.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 27 at 9 AM at St. John Neumann Church, 620 Bestgate Road, in Annapolis. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
