Mary Long Funk, 84, a resident of an assisted living facility in Arnold for the past 10 years and formerly of Arbutus in Baltimore County, died of natural causes Dec. 5 at her home.
Mrs. Funk was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Harrisburg, Pa., and graduated from Catonsville High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed painting landscapes and still lifes in oil. She was a member of Arbutus United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three children, Susan F. Beaman of Berlin, Dennis B. Funk of Milton, Del., and Beverly F. Moyer of Salisbury; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was formerly married to the late Benjamin Funk.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to www.barranco
