Mary Louise Fowler, 95, of Severna Park, Maryland peacefully passed away on November 28, 2017. Mary was born on July 17, 1922 in Norfolk, Virginia. She has since lived in Washington D.C., Hyattsville (MD) and Arnold (MD).

Mary attended St. Cecilia's High School in Washington D.C. She worked for the Government Printing Office, then went on to work as Executive Secretary for the International Committee on English in the Liturgy (ICEL) for many years.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her daughter, Donna Fowler Smith (Arnold, MD); her son James A. Fowler, Jr. (Annapolis, MD); her son Gerald Fowler (Carlisle, PA); her son John Fowler (Arnold, MD), 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James "Al" Fowler. Family was everything to Mary and Al, and they leave a legacy of love.

Mary and Al owned Baldwin's Bakery shop in Brookland, D.C. in the 70's and 80's. Baldwin's was a fixture in the church community of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where they were active members.

Arrangements for a Memorial Service will be publicized at a later date. Interment will be held privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
