Mary Fertitta
Mary Tamburo Fertitta, 97, a resident of Arnold for 39 years, died of heart failure March 12 at her home.
Born Dec. 8, 1910, and raised in Baltimore, she married the late Emmanuel "Manny" Fertitta in 1935.
In addition to being a homemaker, she was the bookkeeper for her late husband's business, the Liberty Fruit Company in Baltimore.
She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park.
She is survived by one son, Neal V. Fertitta of Arnold.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park.
A funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 609 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Interment will be in the New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore.
