Mary M. Dorsey, 95, a resident of Arnold, died on September 27, 2011 at FutureCare Chesapeake in Arnold.
She was born February 22, 1916 in Baltimore, where she was raised, and was a longtime resident. She lived in Arnold for the past ten years.
Mrs. Dorsey owned a dry cleaning establishment.
She enjoyed art and painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph
She is survived by her son, Joseph L. Dorsey and his wife, Zenaida Velez Dorsey of Arnold; her sister, Rita Frock of PA; three grandchildren, Joseph L. Dorsey, Jr., Lisa Marie Groat, and Allysson Ann Miller; and seven great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 1517 Ritchie Hwy, Suite L7, Arnold, MD 21012.
