Mary Theresa Derwart, 96 passed away on March 7, 2021.

Mary was born to Mary (nee Kistner) and James Thim on December 27, 1924 in Baltimore, MD. She was born and raised in Baltimore and was also a resident of Catonsville. Mary graduated from St. Michaels High School in Baltimore.

She married her husband, Bernard H. Derwart on February 14, 1944. Mary loved bingo, old movies, the casino and collecting stuffed bears.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard H. Derwart and her son, Lawrence W. Derwart.

Mary is survived by her son, Richard Derwart (Barbara), of Annapolis; her grandson, Brian Derwart (Susan Lamatrice) of Cary, NC; her great-grandaughters, Mariella Derwart and Grace Ann Derwart of Cary, NC.

The funeral services will be private.
