Mary Cummings
Mary Cummings, 82, of Arnold, died of Alzheimer's disease July 31 at the Severna Park Center, Genesis HealthCare Network, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Cummings was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Allentown, Pa., and lived in Baltimore before moving to Arnold. A homemaker, she also was a temporary worker for the Internal Revenue Service.
She volunteered with the Girl Scouts, was a member of the Homemakers' Club and the 4-H Club and enjoyed travel, sewing, crafts and her dogs.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Allen Cummings; one daughter, Wanda L. Cummings Neice of Pasadena; two granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barrano and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville.
