Mary Ann Canby, 73, a resident of Severna Park, Maryland for forty three years, died peacefully at her home on February 28, 2014

She was born on November 26, 1940 in Baltimore, raised in Baltimore and had resided in Glen Burnie, prior to moving to Severna Park.

After working many years in accounting, Mary returned home fulltime as a loving mother, wife and youth soccer coach.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Brian and Greg Canby, her brother, Frank Polak, her parents, Frank and Gertrude Polak, and her father in law and mother in law, Bernard and Agnes Canby.

Mary is survived by her husband, Charles Walter Canby, her daughter and son in law, Denise and Richard Davidson, her three grandchildren, Kent, Courtney and Christopher Davidson, her sister and brother in law, Yvonne and William Johnson.

Visitation will be held at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5th and Thursday, March 6th, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church on Friday, March 7th at 10am. Entombment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
