Mary Ann "Mal" Cameron, 80, a resident of Annapolis, MD, died on September 14th of natural causes at the Chesapeake Hospice House in Linthicum after a two year illness.

She was born on November 07, 1927 in Lowell, MA, where she was raised. She lived in Fairfield County, Connecticut for thirty years and Washington D.C. for thirty years.

She graduated from Smith College in Amherst, MA in 1948. She was a retired Director of Communications from Music Educators National Conference ("MENC") and on the Board of Directors for the Twenty-First Century Consort.

She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill. She loved to sing in the choir and was a Docent at the National Gallery.

Survivors include three daughters, Sara Cameron Suitor of Branford, CT, Lucinda Renner Cameron of Riehen, Switzerland, and Marcia H. Cameron of Baltimore, MD; niece, Kim Leighton; and grandchildren, Caitlin Suitor, Timothy Suitor, Adina Renner, and Diego Renner.
Also survived by Emily Leighton, Betty Leighton, Betsy Cole, and Howson Cole; son-in-laws, James Suitor and Michael Renner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20, at 11: a.m. at
St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 301 A Street SE, Washington, D.C. 20003.
Interment will be private.
