Mary Margaret Brady

Mary Margaret Brady was born on June 18, 1945 in Savannah, GA, to the Reverend William H. Brady and Margaret L. Brady. Both parents preceded her in death. Mary Margaret graduated from Kemper Hall High School in Kenosha, WI in 1963. She also received a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, and a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, WI. After teaching English at the St. Mary's School for Indian Girls in Souix Falls, SD, for three years, Mary Margaret taught English at Severna Park High School for 30 years before retiring in 2003. Mary Margaret died August 29, 2010, in Glen Burnie, MD.

Mary Margaret was a life-long Episcopalian and was devoted to the church. For several years, Mary Margaret taught Sunday School or served as Sunday School Superintendent at St. Paul's K Street in Washington. She was a member of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament and of the Guild of All Souls.

Mary Margaret is survived by her sister Anne Brady Gross (Daniel) of Solomons, MD; and brothers William H. Brady, Jr., of Baraboo, WI, and Bernard L. Brady (Kathleen) of Fond du Lac, WI. Mary Margaret also is survived by two nieces, Jennifer M. Brady and Elizabeth J. Brady, and two nephews, Bernard C. Brady and Alden L. Gross.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 7, 11:00 a.m. at St Paul's Parish on K Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mary Margaret may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2430 K Street, NW Washington, DC 20037 or to the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 51 W. Division St., Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
