Martin Thomas Quigley, 85, of Annapolis, died of complications of pneumonia May 1 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Quigley was born Sept. 18, 1918, and raised in Washington, D.C.. He lived in College Park for 26 years and retired as a manager from Potomac Electric Power Co. after 51 years service.
He servred in the Army during World War II.
He loved ballroom dancing.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen L. Quigley; three daughters, Kathy M. Green of Arnold, Betsy Woytko of Fairfax Station, Va., and Patty Dervos of Pasadena; two sons, Tom Quigley of Germantown and Jerome Patrick Quigley of Bloomfield, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, and from 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 4902 Berwyn Road, College Park. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Monastery, 1400 Quincy St. NE, Washington, DC 20017.
