Marsha Jean Leach, 63, a resident of Severna Park, passed away on October 25, 2015, in the loving arms of her husband.

She was born on February 17, 1952 in Gary, Indiana and raised in Glen Burnie and Severna Park. Marsha attended Concordia and Valparaiso Colleges and sang in the university choir.

Marsha was an English Teacher with Severna Park High School for 37 years.

She enjoyed reading, watching Orioles games, trips to Lewes beach, spending time with her family, teaching, and mentoring young people.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Nigel Leach of Severna Park; one son, Peter Christopher Leach of Pasadena; one daughter, Katie Christine Leach of Pasadena; her parents, Pastor Emeritus Paul Dannenfeldt and Jean Dannenfeldt of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Cathy Landsman of Boonsboro, MD and Jenny Brown of Montpelier, VA; and one brother, Stephen Dannenfeldt of Westminster, MD.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anne's Cemetery in Annapolis.
