Marlene Rose Chisolm, 73, a resident of Cape St. Claire, died on January 8, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

She was born April 3, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, where she was raised, and past residences include Brooklyn Park, Severna Park, and Annapolis.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, G.G. Chisolm, who died in 2005. She is survived by two sons, Michael G. Chisolm and his wife, Cathi of Severna Park and Gwyn D. Chisolm and his wife, Jenny of Edgewater; six grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Michael, Elizabeth, Ben, Nathan; and one great granddaughter, Kelsey. Also, survived by her brother, Gordon Larrimore of Glen Burnie and her sisters, Norma Larrimore of Baltimore and Patricia Campbell of Linthicum.

Marlene graduated from Anne Arundel Community College with a degree in Nursing and was a Nurse at North Arundel Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, loved her pets and helping her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am on Friday, January 14, 2011. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD.
