Mark Evans Stine, a loving father, son, and brother, died suddenly on June 3rd, at his home in Severna Park. He was 52 years old.
Mark was born on December 18, 1962 in Baltimore. He grew up in Ellicott City. He graduated from Mt. Hebron High School in 1980, where he loved the theater and music. He graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1985, where he met his first wife, Christiane. He was employed by Capital Tristate in Baltimore, as an account manager, for the last 18 years.
Mark was a gentle, loving soul, who made long-lasting friends wherever he went. He adored his two children, and devoted a lot of his time supporting their sports, music, schooling, and activities. He also loved camping, windsurfing, the ocean, hiking, music, and the Washington Redskins. He was also a proud alumni of St. Mary's College of Maryland along with his son Josh and brother Craig.
He was selfless, often thinking of and giving to others, without asking for anything in return. He will be greatly missed by many.
Mark is survived by his children, Joshua Evans Stine and Cara Elizabeth Stine, of Severna Park; his parents, Joseph Evans Stine and Mary Ellen Stine, of Ocean Pines; his sister, Stacy Ann Mack and her husband, Joseph Mack, of Severna Park; and his brother, Craig Andrew Stine and his wife, Tracy DeLuca Stine, of Downingtown, PA. He is also survived by his nephews, Nicholas and Ryan Ten Eyck, and Casey Stine; his niece, Hollis Stine; and his ex-wife, Christiane Schmitz Beavis.
