Mark J. Mundell, 59, a resident of Severna Park passed away suddenly on October 6, 2017 of a heart attack. Mark was born on April 22, 1958 in Washington, DC and grew up in the District Heights area. He graduated from Salisbury University in 1981 as a student athlete (football) and lived in the Annapolis area for many years.

Mark was an Allstate Insurance agent and maintained his own agency for over 20 years in Dundalk and Pasadena. He was known for his attention and care to his customers, many who were with him for years. Mark was a dedicated family man and a kind friend who would do anything to help someone else.

He was a devoted husband to his wife Debra and was an amazing father to his son Mason and daughter Lauren Deery and her husband Kregg. He is survived by his brother Charles Mundell and wife Paula of Delaware and sister Mary Boyce of Ellicott City along with many loving family members and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, October 13 ^th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, October 14 ^th at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. A private burial to follow.
