Marjorie Zirkle Robinson, 85, of Severna Park, Maryland died in her sleep on December 23, 2010. She was born in Venedocia, Ohio to Paul and Gladys Calvert Zirkle on December 31, 1925. After graduating from York Township High School in Ohio she attended and graduated from The Ohio State University where she met her husband Robert F. Robinson. Thereafter she completed an internship in dietetics at Harper Hospital in Detroit Michigan.

Marjorie was a Registered Dietitian and although she enjoyed working at several hospitals throughout her career, spent the majority of her career at the Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville, Maryland and retired two years ago as Director of Dietetics. She enjoyed working in her yard, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and participating in groups and activities with Woods Church where she was a member for over 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Robinson, her siblings, Virginia Zirkle, James Zirkle, Robert Zirkle and Preston Zirkle, as well as her sisters-in-law, Pauline Robinson and Irene Zirkle.

She is survived by her sons, George R. Robinson II, M.D., his wife, and son, Diane M. Robinson and Robert F. "Lin" Robinson, II, of York Pennsylvania and Gregory P. Robinson, his wife and daughters, Teresa A. Robinson, Madeleine K. Robinson and Julia C. Robinson, of Severna Park, Maryland, her brother-in-law, Richard Robinson of Minerva, Ohio, her sister-in-law, Becky Zirkle of Van Wert, Ohio, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park, MD on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with internment to be at the Maryland Veteran's Cemetery in Crownsville, Maryland at a later date.
