Marjorie Schade Pierce passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022.

She was born to Albert and Edith (nee Riley) Schade on September 17, 1930 in Cumberland MD. She was raised in Cumberland and earned her Nursing diploma from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Cumberland MD. Marjorie lived in Centreville MD and was a member of St. Martin's in the Field Church and St. Paul's Anglican Church in Crownsville, MD and the Symphony Village community. Marjorie was a registered nurse and worked at North Arundel Hospital (BWMC).  She loved quilting and sewing as well as entertaining and traveling. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. Most of all she treasured her faith, family, friends, and comforting those in need.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Pierce. She is survived by her three children, Mary Shepherd and her husband Jack of Centreville MD, John Pierce and his wife Jenny of Ashland VA, Mark Pierce and his wife Tamara of Monroe GA, as well as eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at St. Paul's Church, 1505 Crownsville Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032 on September 17, 2022 from 11-12pm with a Memorial Service at 12pm. Interment will be private.
