Marjorie Stone Ingalls, 82, a resident of Severna Park, died on November 25, 2012, at her home. She was born on April 15, 1930 in Conneaut, Ohio to Ralph Herbert and Marjorie Abbott Stone.
She attended Oberlin College where she earned a Bachelor of Music and Ohio State University where she earned a Master of Music.
Marjorie was Organist-Choirmaster at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church from 1968-1988 and at Severna Park United Methodist Church from 1988-1998. She taught music in Anne Arundel County Public Schools from 1966-1988, most recently at Severna Park and Glen Burnie High Schools.
She was preceded in death by her late son David Ingalls Jr. She is survived by her husband, David Ingalls Sr., her children Mary Best of Millersville, Ralph Ingalls of Perry Hall, and Beth Vernon of Millersville, and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road, Severna Park MD, 21146. Burial will be private.
