Marion J. Thompson, age 90, passed away on January 19, 2018.

Marion was born on January 27, 1927 to Jessie (Tooker) and Francis Hickman in Staten Island, NY where she was also raised. She later moved to: Bayard, Delaware; Sayreville, NJ; Severna Park, MD, and most recently resided in Annapolis.

Marion attended New Dorp High School and Anne Arundel Community College where she received her associate degree. She spent her career as the Executive Secretary at the Comptroller's Office State of Maryland.

Marion enjoyed bridge, bowling, golf, travel, crosswords, knitting, sewing, sailing but foremost, her family.

Marion is survived by; her daughter, Eileen Kuehn (Frank) of Easton, MD; her son, James L. Thompson, Jr. (Roxanne) of Wilmington, NC; her daughter, Sally Fortman (Mark) of Gambrills, MD; her daughter, Amy Lundberg (Dave) of Owings Mills, MD; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Marion was one of eight children and has many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Vivienne Wilson of Lake Ronkonkama, NY.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24 ^th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
