Marion Leslie Sampson, 86, of Millersville, died April 9 at Heartlands at Severna Park.
Mrs. Sampson was born Aug. 4, 1918, and reared in Washington, D.C., where she graduated from the former District of Columbia Teacher's College in 1938.
She worked as teacher in Washington, D.C., as a substitute teacher in Maryland and for H&R Block for 20 years.
Among her interests were playing bridge and reading.
Her husband, Harold Sampson, died in 1987.
Surviving are two sons, George H. Sampson of Supply, N.C. and Mark Sampson of Glenn Dale; one daughter, Marilynn S. Fielding of Millersville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
