Marion "Mike" Noreen Miller, 82, a 47 year resident of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away on February 14, 2023.

She was born in Belvidere Illinois on July 23, 1940 to Marion and Donald Ferguson and had three siblings, Donna (Gorney), Francis (Marek) and Richard Ferguson.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she met her husband, Stuart "Alan" Miller and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

She was a proud Army wife and loved her role as a hostess. She became a teacher and taught math and chemistry in CA, GA and MD. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree at Johns Hopkins in the Whiting School of Engineering and became a software engineer for 20 years at Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman.

She was a great gift giver, wrapper, and thank you note writer. She loved to cook and would often make amazing meals as well as host fancy dinner parties. She liked to golf and to garden, and she loved to swim in and read around her pool. She loved to travel all over the world with her husband and to take pictures and document her world travels in albums and diaries.

She was a member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Retired Colonel Stuart Miller, her two daughters, Mary Beth Dearing (Christopher), Carrie Hilliard (James) and her five grandchildren: Benjamin Dearing, Jackson Dearing, Allyson Dearing, Jake Hilliard and Alexandra Hilliard, as well as her brother, Richard Ferguson and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 27th at 11am at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Severna Park MD 21146.
