Marilyn L. Stallings, 80, a resident of Severna Park for 47 years, passed away on April 10, 2016, at her residence.
She was born on June 4, 1935 in Baltimore, graduated in 1954 from Eastern High School. In 1955 she married William R. Stallings; they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage together. After raising her family she returned to the work force and retired in 1995 from First National Bank of MD.
Marilyn was a member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church for 46 years. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, was a member of the Berrywood Association for 40 years, and was instrumental in raising capital to construct the Berrywood Swim and Tennis Club.
Marilyn enjoyed family, friends, and most of all, her trips to the Outer Banks with her family.
She is survived by her son, Mark R. Stallings of San Jose, CA; her daughters, Sharon A. Duncan of Annapolis, and Donna E. Stallings of Severna Park; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.
Services will be held at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 am in the sanctuary. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
