Marilyn Ditta, 77, peacefully passed away at home in her sleep on Friday, March 19, 2010. She was a resident of Arnold for 40 years, previously of Long Island, New York, and born August 21, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Adelaide Fernous. She worked in the Bank of Manhattan, where she met her husband of 54 years, Paul Ditta, who preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by her brother Louis F. Fernous. She was a loving and devoted mother to her six children; Susan Sherman of Titusville, FL, Marie Mueller of Severna Park, Anthony Ditta of Stevensville, Linda, Laura, & Donna Ditta, all of Arnold; as well as six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Monday, March 22nd at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. The funeral mass will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 23rd at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. The Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
