Marie Lorna Zabiegalski of Severna Park, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 30, 2025. Marie was born to Nick and Victoria Cerase on 1 August 1938 in Glen Lyon, PA. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Zabiegalski, Sr. of 60 years. Marie is survived by her son’s Nick, Reginald Jr. and Ron Zabiegalski, daughter Lisa Cook, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren including many friends and extended family.

In addition to being a housewife for 30 years, Marie retired as a civil servant from U.S. Department of Defense. Her hobbies included duckpin bowling, casinos and bingo. Marie was as an avid chef and baker. Marie possessed the ability to make every person feel at home hosting unforgettable holiday gatherings, welcoming friends to her dinner table, or brightening a room with her humor, style and effortless grace.

We invite you to a viewing at Barranco Funeral Home at 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146 on December 14th from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on December 15th (Time to be determined) at Our Lady of the Chesapeake church 8325 Ventnor Road Pasadena, MD 21122. The internment will be held following the Mass, at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd Crownsville, MD 21032.
