Marie H. Waggoner, 82, a resident of Arnold, died on October 13, 2011 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.
She was born on January 4, 1929 in Baltimore, MD, where she was raised, and moved to Arnold in 1953.
Marie worked as an accountant for the Department of Defense & Westinghouse and retired in 1989 from Department of Defense.
She enjoyed square dancing with the Thunderbird Twirlers and loved going on roller coasters with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Arnold Women's Fire Department Auxiliary; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Chesleigh LeRoy Waggoner.
She is survived by her daughter's, Sharon Merrill (Marvin) of Newbury Park, CA; and Dale Williams of Arnold; son, Duane Waggoner (Ilene) of Annapolis; fourteen grandchildren; and forty-one great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1875 Ritchie Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
