Marie Stairiker Mulderick, 93, a resident of Severna Park, died February 5, 2009 due to natural causes following a brief illness, at Tate Chesapeake Hospice House in Linthicum, MD.

She was born September 1, 1915 in Philadelphia, PA, where she was raised. She moved to New York City during the early 1950's. She married in 1952 and lived in Chicago, IL from 1962-1968. In 1968, she resided in Potomac, MD, with her husband, where she lived until 2001, when she came to live at McKinsey Park Community in Severna Park.

Mrs. Mulderick was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Severna Park and Our Lady of Mercy Church in Potomac, MD.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Mulderick was preceded in death by her late husband, Raymond Elmer Mulderick, who passed away in 2001, and by her late son, Robert Edward Mulderick, who passed away in 1978.

Survivors include her son, Richard J. Mulderick of Stevensville, MD; her daughter, Catherine Kingsley of Deerfield, FL; and seven grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Interment will be private. Arrangements have been made by Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home.

In lieu of lowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
