Margaret Marie Grieser, 81, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Feb. 26 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Born Aug. 13, 1923, in Baltimore and raised in Aquasco, Mrs. Grieser formerly lived in Annapolis. She moved to her daughter's home in Severna Park in 2004.
A homemaker, she enjoyed travel and playing bridge.
In August 1942 she was married to Robert Grieser who is now deceased.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Jordan; one son, Robert "Bob" Grieser Jr. of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, George "Billy" Forbes of Maryland and Joseph Forbes of Aalen, Germany; one sister, Mittie Simmons of Miami; and one grandchild.
She was the mother of the late William "Bill" Grieser and sister of the late Robert Lee Forbes, Eleanor Carrico and Martha "Patty" Boone.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Aquasco followed by burial in the church cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852, or Arthritis Foundation, 714 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, MD 21146.
