Marie B. Clark, 78, a resident of Federalsburg, died on May 3, 2013, at her home.

She was born on January 7, 1935 in Annapolis, MD, where she was raised, and graduated from Annapolis High School in 1953.
Marie worked for Charles F. Lee Real Estate, C & P Telephone Company, and Worthington & Associates Appraisers.

She was a member of OES; a parishioner of Saint Martin's Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the choir; and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Verne Bethel and Neva Hopkins Bethel.

Marie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rt. Rev. George D. Clark, Jr.; two sons, George D. Clark, III of Annapolis and John Laird Clark of Barboursville, VA; one brother, James William Bethel of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Pamela Lynn Clark of Bowie, Steven Daniel Clark of Annapolis, Gillian Clark of Barboursville, VA, and Ainsley Clark of Barboursville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 1505 Crownsville Road, Crownsville, MD 21032.
