Marie Bowersox (nee Neville), 92, died on Sunday August 9, 2015 at home in Severna Park, Md. She was born on September 19, 1922 in Catonsville, Md., where she attended St. Joseph's Monastery and the Institute of Notre Dame.

Marie was married to James Bowersox,Sr. from 1947 until his death in 2004. They lived in Catonsville, Baltimore, and Severna Park (1963). She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Her interests included cooking and sewing; but she was happiest when doing for others. It can be said that she spent her entire life caring for others. She was a crowd favorite with a tremendous personality and great wit and humor. She is already missed.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Ada Neville; siblings Dolores, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Albert; and husband James.

She is survived by a sister Evelyn Finkner; her children James Bowersox, Jr. (Linda) and Anne Heinlein; grandchildren Gretchen Berrong (Stewart), James Bowersox III, Peter Heinlein, and Claire Vetter (Brian); and great-grandchildren James, Mia, Katherine, Zoe, Wroxeter, and Poppy.

Internment will be private.
