Marianne Bracey Holston, daughter of the late Anne Bracey and sister to James Bracey, passed away on July 20, 2019. She was born on September 16, 1930, in New Jersey and grew up in Gettysburg, PA. She attended Gettysburg College, majoring in French and Spanish. She met her husband, Frank Holston, when attending a summer course at Towson State Teacher's College. They resided in Baltimore County. She was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of 52 years. She is survived by her children, Bill Holston, Sally Holston, and Jeanne Parks, five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Marianne enjoyed knitting family treasures and hats and booties for the newborns at the neonatology unit at University of Maryland Hospital. She was a history buff, frequently discussing the battle of Gettysburg with friends and family, along with other topics. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Hospice of the Chesapeake located in Pasadena, MD.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, August 2nd, 2019 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, with a memorial service to begin at 1:30 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
