Margo E. Capra McLaughlin, 59, of Severna Park, who was a corporate executive in information systems, died of cancer Jan. 23 at her home.

Born April 11, 1945, and reared in Port Washington, N.Y., Mrs. McLaughlin attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Parsons School of Design and the Cornell University School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration.

Subsequently she attended Hartford Graduate Center for Systems Design and Analysis the IBM Systems Science Institute and Datapro and studied additional computer programs.

Early in her career she was a senior flight attendant for the former Capital International Airways, a resort condominium manager, a hospital administrator and a real estate appraiser.

After completing her computer studies, Mrs. McLaughlin changed careers. She was a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems in Burlington, Vt., and a program analyst for American International Group in Manchester, N.H. She returned to EDS, became a business systems analyst for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Hampshire/Vermont and joined Applied Data Resarch.

Since 1988 Mrs. McLaughlin worked for the Hunter Group in Baltimore as vice president, director of marketing and western region manager. She also had been manager of its microcomputer division.

She served as public education officer for the Coast Guard Auxiliary, participated in competitive one-design racing and cruising and was a member of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the Annapolis Maritime Museum and the Cousteau Society.

Surviving is her husband, Clyde McLaughlin.

Visitation is at noon Satur-day at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 1 p.m. Burial will be private.
