Margaret Elizabeth Wilkinson, age 93, of Spring Arbor in Severna Park, MD, died at her home from complications due to pancreatic cancer on June 2, 2017.  Born in Englewood, New Jersey, she grew up in Closter, New Jersey and was a graduate of Closter High School.   On June 06, 1945, she married Earl V. Wilkinson Jr. who served in the United States Air Force and was married to him until his passing on August 1, 1997.  They traveled the world together during her husband's military career living in Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, South Dakota, Texas, Kansas, Washington D.C., Japan, and Germany.

They settled in Severna Park, Maryland after her husband's retirement from the Air Force in 1970.  Among her many activities during retirement, she was a member of the Fort Meade Women's Golf Group and also volunteered with Meals on Wheels spending over 30 years working with this group.  She is survived by their two children, Earl V. Wilkinson III of Columbia MD, and Margaret A. Freeburn of Severna Park MD, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research or Meals on Wheels for Anne Arundel County.

Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 1pm.
