Margaret (Marge) Kees Wegner, 91, of Annapolis, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 9 th , 2021.
Margaret was born to her parents, Elmer and Ruth Kees in Maryland Park, MD on June 29, 1930. She graduated from Maryland Park High School in 1947 and worked for the FBI from 1947-1957. Margaret devoted much of her time to St. Anne's Day school, starting in 1988, assisting with the Prekindergarten program and assisting with secretary work, retiring in 2003. In addition to her involvement in the school, she was also a longtime member of St. Anne's Church, singing in the choir for 14 years.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chip) Wegner; her twin sister, Mary Kees Gammill, her sister, Naomi Simon, and her brothers, William and Charles (Buddy) Kees.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Sibley of Richmond, VA; her children, Jan Shea (Paul) and Robert Coffey (Jeanine); along with 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Episcopal Church Choir, Annapolis, MD.
