Margaret Marie Vykoukal, 92, a 35 year resident of Arnold, MD, died of natural causes on October 28, 2009 at Laurels of Hendersonville in North Carolina.

She was born October 14, 1917 in Baltimore, MD, where she was raised. She previously lived in Ferndale, MD for 35 years, before residing in Arnold, MD.

She was previously employed at Robinson Department Store and also worked as an executive administrative assistant for an Aerospace Company.

Mrs. Vykoukal enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time at her beach house.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Vykoukal, whom she married October 2, 1937, and her late sisters, Elizabeth Omohundro and Gertrude Szech.

Survivors include her daughter, Carole Ann Dorsey of Hendersonville, NC; three grandchildren, Joseph Dorsey, Jr. of Myersville, MD; Lisa Marie Groat of Arnold, MD and Allysson Ann Miller of Lawrenceville, GA; and seven great grandchildren, Joseph Dorsey, Sam Dorsey, Megan Miller, Lauren Miller, Conner Miller, Ian Groat, and Kaylee Groat.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, November 01, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park, MD. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 02, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, MD.
